INTENSIVE SOCCER PLAYER DEVELOPMENT COURSE (ISPDC)
2010 July 05 – 09, Deep River, Ontario
The purpose of this course is to bring to our area qualified and highly trained personnel for a week of intensive soccer player development. The objective is to foster an enriching environment that brings together a selected group of accomplished and motivated players from the Ottawa Valley and a highly qualified coaching staff.
This staff will include two professional provincial level coaches, two hired technical coordinators, several hired external part-time consultants, and local volunteer coaches. The intent is to cover technical skills and tactical/team play skill development, but also to further educate young players in other areas such as overall athletics, nutrition, positive approach to a competitive environment, and personal life skills.
Click for more details on registration, benefits, staff and course format.
COACHES: We are always looking for coaches. If you are interested in coaching but don’t feel you know enough about the game, we offer certified training for anyone interested.
Sign up for the coaching clinics. This is a great way to spend time with your children. Check our Coach web page for other coaching resources.
REFEREES - We offer CSA certified training for anyone interested in becoming a referee. For the mini referee program you must be 12 years old by April 1 2010. For the entry-level course you must be 14 years old by March 31 2010. Check our Referee web page for other resources.
